Private Integration Sessions
Turn insight into meaningful, lasting change.
A psilocybin experience can bring powerful emotions, memories, perspectives, and realisations to the surface. Integration is the space where you begin to understand what these experiences mean for you — and how they can become part of your life in a grounded and meaningful way.
Our private integration sessions are held one-to-one with a psychologist and are tailored entirely to what emerged during your journey. Together, we explore significant themes, emotional patterns, relationships, beliefs, behaviours, and any difficult or unexpected material that may have surfaced.
Drawing on trauma-informed, clinically focused, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, integration can go far beyond simply talking through the experience. It provides a structured space to process what happened, deepen your understanding of yourself, and translate insight into practical changes in the way you think, feel, relate, and live.
Integration is not about telling you what your experience meant. It is about helping you discover its meaning for yourself — with the depth, care, and professional support needed to carry that understanding forward.

What can you expect?
At Psyki, psilocybin is not the experience in itself, it is one part of a carefully considered psychological and therapeutic process. We place equal importance on preparation, the experience, and integration, creating a journey that is grounded in insight, intention, and meaningful personal change.
A Bespoke Experience
Your private Psyki journey is designed around you, including the setting in which it unfolds.
Your experience can take place in our private practice rooms in Amsterdam Zuid, set opposite a beautiful canal and offering a calm, discreet, and thoughtfully prepared environment. Alternatively, where appropriate, your journey can take place in the comfort and familiarity of your own accomodation.
The format itself can also be tailored to your needs, from a focused one-day experience to an extended day-and-night retreat or a more immersive multi-day journey. Every element is considered with intention, allowing the experience to reflect your preferences, pace, and personal goals.
Specialist Support Throughout
Every Psyki journey begins with a private consultation with the psychologist who will be supporting you throughout your experience.
This is an opportunity to understand you in greater depth — your intentions, personal history, current circumstances, expectations, and what you hope to explore or change. It also allows us to consider the experience carefully and shape the preparation, setting, and support around your individual needs.
You will have space to ask questions, discuss any concerns, and gain a clear understanding of what to expect before moving forward.
From the very beginning, your journey is approached with professional insight, careful consideration, and genuine personal attention — ensuring that your experience feels not only deeply individual, but exceptionally well held.
Private Preparation Workshop
Preparation is an essential part of the Psyki experience. Before your journey, you will take part in a private two-hour online session designed to help you feel informed, grounded, and fully prepared for what lies ahead.
Together with your psychologist-guide, you will explore how psilocybin can affect the mind and body, what you may experience during your journey, and how to approach the experience with greater openness and confidence. We will also introduce practical techniques such as breathwork, mindfulness, and personalised grounding practices that can support you throughout the process.
This session is shaped around you — your intentions, questions, concerns, and individual needs — so that you enter your experience feeling supported, prepared, and clear about the journey ahead.
Private Integration Sessions
The experience does not end when the retreat does. Integration is where insight begins to take shape in everyday life.
Following your journey, you will receive a private two-hour online integration workshop with your psychologist-guide. Together, you will reflect on what emerged, explore the meaning behind key moments or themes, and identify how those insights may relate to your emotions, relationships, patterns, values, and future direction.
The aim is not simply to remember the experience, but to help you understand it, ground it, and translate what was meaningful into practical and lasting change.
Access to the Psyki Community
Your journey continues beyond the retreat through access to the Psyki digital platform — a curated space designed to deepen your understanding and support your preparation and integration.
Inside, you’ll find our comprehensive Psilocybin Masterclass, alongside a growing library of guided meditations, breathwork practices, and supportive audio and video resources. You’ll also have access to immersive four-hour Music Journeys, thoughtfully composed to mirror the natural rhythm and progression of a psilocybin experience.
Together, these resources give you the opportunity to learn, reflect, practise, and reconnect with your experience in your own time.
A Personalised Psilocybin Truffle Experience
Your truffle experience is carefully tailored around you, with the intensity, setting, and overall approach considered in light of your intentions, previous experience, comfort level, and individual needs.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we take time to discuss what feels appropriate for your journey and ensure that every element is approached with care and intention. Your experience may also be supported by personalised breathwork, mindfulness, grounding practices, and music chosen to complement the natural progression of the journey.
The result is an experience that feels considered, supported, and uniquely your own.
Thoughtfully Curated Nourishment
Nourishment is an important part of your retreat experience. Before your journey, we offer personalised guidance around food and preparation, including recommendations on when and what to eat based on your individual needs.
Following the experience, you will be offered a carefully prepared meal tailored to your preferences, dietary requirements, and what feels most supportive for you at that moment.
All meals, snacks, and drinks are thoughtfully selected and included as part of your retreat, ensuring that your nourishment feels as personal and considered as the rest of your Psyki experience.

Our Expertise
Psyki is built around a level of professional depth that extends far beyond coaching, facilitation, or simply holding space. Our work is informed by formal psychological training and extensive experience in understanding how people think, feel, relate, protect themselves, and respond under emotional pressure.
This means we are able to look beyond the immediate experience and recognise the deeper patterns that may be shaping it — including trauma responses, attachment dynamics, defence mechanisms, emotional dysregulation, entrenched behavioural patterns, cognitive distortions, interpersonal difficulties, and underlying psychological vulnerabilities. We bring the ability to assess, formulate, identify risk, understand complexity, and adapt our approach when something unexpected emerges.
Rather than applying a single technique or predetermined process, we draw on a broad body of psychological knowledge to understand the individual as a whole. Preparation is informed by your history, personality, emotional patterns, relationships, coping styles, vulnerabilities, and intentions. During the experience, this depth of understanding allows for more nuanced and responsible support. Afterwards, integration goes beyond simply discussing what happened — we help you examine what it may reveal about the patterns, conflicts, beliefs, and emotional processes operating in your life, and how those insights can translate into meaningful change.
That distinction matters. Many people can guide an experience; far fewer bring the depth of psychological assessment, formulation, therapeutic understanding, and professional judgement needed to work confidently with the complexity that may arise within it.
At Psyki, psilocybin is not offered in isolation. It sits within a sophisticated, highly considered process shaped by expertise in the human mind, behaviour, emotion, relationships, and lasting change.
Years of Experience
Experience matters when working with the complexity of the human mind. Psyki is shaped by years of direct professional work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, identity, major life transitions, and deeply rooted behavioural and emotional patterns.
That experience brings more than knowledge — it brings judgement, pattern recognition, confidence, and the ability to respond thoughtfully when an experience becomes complex, unexpected, or emotionally intense. It is the kind of depth that develops through years of working closely with people, not through a short facilitator or coaching programme.
At Psyki, you are not simply supported through an experience. You are supported by someone who has spent years understanding people at depth.
Depth, Presence & Human Connection
Expertise matters, but so does the person holding the experience.
At Psyki, we bring a deeply human quality to the work — the ability to listen beyond words, recognise what is often left unsaid, and meet people with warmth, curiosity, compassion, and genuine presence. We are comfortable sitting with complexity, vulnerability, silence, uncertainty, and the deeper questions that often emerge when people begin to look inward.
This allows conversations to move beyond the surface. We create space for profound reflection, emotional honesty, and meaningful connection without judgement, pressure, or the need to force an outcome.
For many people, the most powerful part of the journey is not simply what they experience, but feeling truly seen, understood, and accompanied through it.

Our Evidence-Informed Journey
1. Preparation
Your journey begins with thoughtful preparation. Through a private online workshop, you will gain a clear understanding of psilocybin, explore what to expect, and be introduced to mindfulness practices and therapeutic tools designed to help you feel grounded, informed, and prepared. You will also receive access to the Psyki platform, with guided resources, music, and supportive practices to accompany you before your experience.
2. The Experience
The central experience is carefully curated around safety, comfort, and depth. With expert guidance throughout, your psilocybin journey is supported by a calm setting, personalised therapeutic practices, thoughtfully selected music, and nourishment tailored to your needs. Every element is designed to help you move through the experience with greater trust, presence, and intention.
3. Integration
Afterwards, we help you understand and work with what emerged. Integration includes therapeutic support with a psychologist, allowing you to explore key insights, emotional themes, and patterns in greater depth. Drawing from trauma-informed and clinically focused therapeutic approaches, we help you process the experience safely and translate meaningful insights into practical, lasting change in your everyday life.
Testimonials
“I have done therapy before, but this allowed me to see my patterns from an entirely different perspective. The integration afterwards was just as important as the experience itself. It helped me turn what could have remained an extraordinary memory into changes I could actually bring into my life.”
— Sofia
“I arrived expecting an experience. I left feeling as though I had understood parts of myself that years of reflection had never quite reached. What made the difference was the depth of support — I never felt like I was simply being guided through psilocybin; I felt genuinely understood throughout the entire process.”
— Elena
“The preparation completely changed the way I approached the journey. Everything felt considered, personal and incredibly safe. When difficult emotions surfaced, I felt supported by someone who understood what was happening beneath the surface rather than simply reassuring me that it would pass.”
— Daniel
“For the first time, I was able to look at some of the most difficult parts of my life without immediately wanting to escape from them. I felt profoundly held, but never directed or told what my experience meant. I came away with a much clearer understanding of myself — and a sense that something had genuinely shifted.”
— Amira
"There was a level of professionalism and depth that I had not expected from a psychedelic retreat. Nothing felt rushed, generic or ceremonial for the sake of ceremony. It felt intelligent, deeply human and completely tailored to me.”
— Omar

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from a psilocybin journey?
A psilocybin journey can create space to encounter thoughts, emotions, memories, and perspectives that may be harder to access in everyday life. Many people describe a greater sense of openness, self-awareness, emotional connection, and the ability to view familiar patterns from a different perspective.
Psilocybin is also associated with temporary changes in brain connectivity and neuroplasticity, which may support greater cognitive flexibility and help people step outside of deeply established ways of thinking and responding. The experience itself can be meaningful, but we believe its real value is strengthened by what surrounds it.
At Psyki, preparation, the journey, and integration are treated as one connected process. Through personalised preparation, therapeutic support, integration with a psychologist, and ongoing practices, we help you make sense of what emerges and translate meaningful insights into changes that can continue beyond the experience itself.
What are the potential benefits of psilocybin truffles?
Psilocybin-containing fungi have a long history of ceremonial and traditional use, while modern scientific interest in psilocybin has grown significantly over recent decades.
Research suggests that psilocybin may temporarily alter patterns of brain connectivity, increase cognitive flexibility, and support new ways of relating to thoughts, emotions, and established behavioural patterns. Studies have explored its potential in areas such as mood, anxiety, addiction, emotional wellbeing, meaning-making, and personal insight.
At Psyki, we do not view psilocybin as a treatment in isolation. Its value lies in the wider process around it — careful preparation, a well-supported experience, and thoughtful integration — which can help turn insight into something more grounded, useful, and lasting.
How do I know if psilocybin is right for me?
Deciding whether a psilocybin experience is appropriate should involve more than curiosity or timing alone. At Psyki, we consider your physical health, psychological history, current emotional state, medication use, and what is happening in your life at the time.
Before moving forward, you will complete a careful screening and consultation so we can understand your needs, intentions, and any factors that may require additional consideration. If you are taking medication or receiving medical or psychiatric treatment, we may also recommend that you speak with your doctor before proceeding.
Readiness matters too. Having enough time, emotional space, and support around the experience can make a meaningful difference. Our preparation process and Psilocybin Masterclass are designed to help you understand what to expect, reflect on your readiness, and create the most supportive conditions for your journey.
How do I get the most out of my experience?
The quality of a psilocybin journey is shaped not only by the experience itself, but by how thoughtfully you prepare for it.
At Psyki, we help you create the right internal and external conditions through personalised preparation, practical guidance, mindfulness-based practices, and therapeutic tools designed to support emotional readiness, focus, and a sense of safety. You will also receive clear guidance around food, rest, setting, and what to expect before the journey begins.
Our Psilocybin Masterclass and preparation process are designed to help you approach the experience with greater clarity and intention, while integration afterwards helps you reflect on what emerged and turn meaningful insights into lasting change.
Is taking psilocybin truffles safe?
Psilocybin is generally considered to have a low risk of physical toxicity and is not regarded as physically addictive. However, no psychedelic experience is completely risk-free, and safety depends greatly on the individual, the dose, the environment, and the support surrounding the experience.
For some people, psilocybin may be unsuitable — particularly where there are certain medical conditions, psychiatric vulnerabilities, or medications that could interact with the experience. It can also temporarily intensify emotions, anxiety, confusion, or distress, which is why careful screening and preparation are so important.
At Psyki, safety begins before the journey itself. We take time to understand your physical and emotional health, medication use, personal history, and current circumstances so that any potential concerns can be identified in advance. The experience is then supported within a calm, carefully considered setting with professional guidance throughout.
We also encourage you to make an informed decision, ask questions, review reputable information, and speak with your doctor or treating professional where appropriate.
Are psilocybin truffles legal?
Yes. Fresh psilocybin-containing truffles are legal to purchase and consume in the Netherlands.
The legal status of psilocybin varies significantly from country to country, so this does not apply internationally. While interest in psychedelic-assisted care is growing and legislation is evolving in some regions, laws remain different around the world.
At Psyki, all experiences take place within the legal framework of the Netherlands.
What dosage will I receive?
At Psyki, we use fresh, legal psilocybin truffles, with the amount tailored to the individual rather than following a fixed one-size-fits-all dose.
Your dosage is considered in consultation with you and takes into account factors such as your previous experience, intentions, physical and emotional wellbeing, sensitivity, and overall readiness for the journey. The aim is to support an experience that feels appropriate, considered, and aligned with your needs.
A psilocybin truffle experience typically unfolds over several hours, often around four to six, although the intensity and duration can vary from person to person.
We do not believe that a higher dose is automatically a better or more meaningful experience. The focus is on finding the level that best supports your individual journey.
What should I know about the truffles?
The truffles used at Psyki contain naturally occurring psilocybin and are selected with care for quality and consistency.
Psilocybin is not suitable for everyone. It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or alongside alcohol, recreational drugs, or certain medications. You should also avoid driving or operating machinery after taking psilocybin.
If you have a medical or mental health condition, or are currently taking medication, we strongly recommend discussing this with your doctor before proceeding. Suitability is also reviewed as part of our screening process before your experience.
For your safety, all participants are expected to follow Psyki’s preparation and safety guidelines before taking part.
Can I take psilocybin truffles while using medication?
Some medications can interact with psilocybin or affect the safety and intensity of the experience, so this is something we take very seriously.
If you are currently taking prescription medication, please do not stop, reduce, or alter it in preparation for a Psyki experience without first speaking with your doctor or prescribing clinician. During screening, we will review your medication use and identify whether any additional medical guidance is needed before you proceed.
Certain medications may mean that a psilocybin experience is not appropriate at that time. Where there is uncertainty, we may recommend further consultation with a qualified medical professional before confirming your participation.
Your safety always takes priority over proceeding with the experience.
Are there any contraindications to consider?
(PLEASE CONSULT A DOCTOR WHEN IN DOUBT) There are a few important
contra-indications, such as if you are suffering from heart problems, if
you are currently dealing with mental issues, or when you are pregnant.
Please make sure that you carefully check the following
contra-indications:
– You have no current physical or mental health disorder;
– You have no history of psychosis or close relative with a schizophrenic disorder;
– You do not currently take any medication;
– You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
Is payment in instalments possible?
Yes. For retreats booked more than two months in advance, payment can be divided into three instalments.
The first instalment is paid when your booking is confirmed, with the remaining two payments scheduled before the start of your experience. Our team will contact you after booking to arrange a payment schedule that is clear and convenient for you.
This allows you to secure your preferred date while spreading the cost of your Psyki experience over time.
